***Pickaway County Fair Sheep and Goat Exhibitors***
You will need to have a USDA Scrapies tag to exhibit your Market Ewe/Breeding Stock at the Pickaway County Fair.
Breeding Goat exhibitors will need to have either a USDA Scrapie Tag or be Tattooed. If you choose to tattoo your animal it will be your responsibility to provide the light for the USDA to validate the tattoo.
These are USDA requirements not Pickaway County Fairboard requirements.
A USDA representive will be at the fair to inspect your animals, if you are not in compliance with this rule, you will receive a written violation and will need to grant access to the USDA at a later date to reinspect your project.
Stay tuned once we get closer to fair the approx. date and time of the USDA inspections will be posted.
